Is it just me or do other people also have difficulty in maintaining purely platonic relationships with the opposite sex? Ones in which any feelings or desire to extend beyond the boundaries of friendship are precluded? Is it something inherent in a guy's natural predilection to fall for a pretty smile or an engaging disposition? Or do girls find similar complications as well? I'm sure its different depending on each person and relationship but I can't help but think guys have the harder time with this. However, I can't seem to pinpoint the exact reasons why either. Maybe thats because I'm a guy...or maybe it is just me. If so, that sucks...hahaha.
